11 February 2015, Benson, Arizona, USA. Otolaryngology. Gray, et al. 55 year old female employee was exposed to a water damaged office that had fungal and bacterial growth. In 2005 her workplace was noted to have water intrusion and was inspected and tested for the presence of fungi She developed a sphenoid mass that was first diagnosed as cancer. After surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and a second biopsy she discharged fungal hyphae from the opened sphenoid sinus.
